I been checkin out Monica's "Still Standin" show on BET alot lately which lead to me diggin in the crates and checkin out some of her old so that's why the above video features one of her throwback singles. I remember this joint was serious when it came out and it's still serious to this day! The lyrics, production and just overall vibe is legendary. The title of the song is "Before You Walk Out My Life". It came out in 1995 on her "Miss Thang" when Monica was only 14 and she actually recorded it a year before that! DAMN! This is what people talk about when they say "Music isn't the same". Grown women in the industry today don't even sing like Monica did on this track when she was only a teenager SMH. Check it out!
